Kano Hands Over Rano School Site for Proposed Federal Polytechnic
The Kano State Government has handed over the School of Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship Development in Rano to the committee overseeing the proposed Federal Polytechnic, Rano. Governor Abba Yusuf inspected facilities at the site and pledged state support for the institution’s take-off. He said technical education and skills development are vital to helping young people gain employment and become self-reliant. The state also plans to improve facilities at the school’s new location in Sumaila Local Government Area. The steering committee has requested additional land to allow for future expansion and supporting infrastructure.
