Army Rescues Three Kidnap Victims in Bauchi’s Alkaleri LGA

Troops of the CSI Battalion conducted a patrol in Garin Bagobiri, Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State on April 12, 2026. They recovered three individuals who had been abducted following an air strike on suspected terrorist hideouts two days earlier. After profiling the rescued victims, the soldiers handed them over to the IDP camp in Futuk for further care and documentation. These operations aim to consolidate recent military gains and deny terrorists freedom of movement in the region.
