Kayode initially arrived from Fiorentina on loan before making the move permanent. After a period on the bench, the 22-year-old established himself as a regular starter for Brentford and earned a place in Italy’s national-team setup. His agent said Kayode still has room to improve, but believes the defender’s pace and physicality can help him thrive in English football. Kayode has since signed a long-term Brentford contract running until 2032.
