FG Targets August 2027 Release of WAEC and NECO Results Before Admissions
The Federal Government has proposed a 2027 examination timetable that would require WAEC, NECO and other major external examination bodies to release results by August. The plan is intended to prevent delays that affect candidates seeking admission into universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in September. At a meeting with examination bodies in Abuja, the Ministry of Education said the proposed schedule would harmonise examination dates, prevent clashes and ensure results are processed within agreed timelines. JAMB is expected to conduct the 2027 UTME from March 15 to 25, with results due within the same month.
