Pope Leo XIV to Visit San Marino and Address Rimini Catholic Gathering
Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to visit San Marino on Saturday before travelling to Rimini on Italy’s Adriatic coast for the annual Rimini Meeting. In San Marino, the Pope will meet local authorities and lead a prayer service at the republic’s basilica. He will then join the Communion and Liberation gathering in Rimini, which brings together religious, cultural and political leaders. The pontiff is expected to deliver an address, visit an exhibition on Saint Augustine and meet sick and disabled Catholics. He will later celebrate an open-air Mass at Rimini’s port.
