When Life Shakes You, Trust God’s Greater Plan
Difficult seasons can feel like setbacks, but they do not always signal defeat. God can use pain, closed doors and uncertainty to strengthen us, reposition us and prepare us for a greater purpose. Paul and Silas appeared defeated when they were imprisoned. Yet God used that moment to display His power, free them from their chains and bring salvation to their jailer’s household. What looked like a setback became an opportunity for the Gospel to advance. Romans 8:28 reminds us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Not every experience is pleasant, but no pain is wasted in God’s hands when we continue to trust Him. Prayer: Father, help me to trust You when life does not make sense. Teach me to believe that You are working through every circumstance for my good. Amen.
