Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun Mourns Veteran Actor Ogogo

Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun has paid an emotional tribute to veteran actor Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, following his reported death at the age of 66. Egungbohun said Ogogo became a source of care and comfort after the death of his uncle, Otunba Wahab Ayinla Egungbohun. He recalled that the actor regularly called to check on him and treated him with the affection of an elder brother. He prayed for Ogogo's soul to be granted Al-Jannah Firdaus. The actor is expected to be buried on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
