Good day, everyone. I have a degree in Computer Science and plan to pursue a master’s degree at UNILAG or LASU. I am considering a Master of Information Technology because I want a programme that differs from Computer Science. However, I need clarification on whether an MIT is equivalent to an MSc, especially for civil service promotion and general employment. Is the MIT considered an academic master’s degree, and does it carry the same recognition as an MSc? I would appreciate advice from anyone with relevant knowledge or experience before I apply.
