Skales Calls Out EFCC Over Alleged Abuse During Lekki Estate Raid
Singer Skales has criticised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission after a video allegedly showed operatives raiding Applewood Estate in Lekki, Lagos. The singer said the officers allegedly assaulted a woman, dragged a suspect and damaged property during the operation. He urged residents, especially young people on Orchid Road, to document and report any alleged misconduct. Skales also recalled a 2023 raid on his home, saying the incident left him and his family traumatised. He called on the EFCC to address alleged misuse of power and focus on public officials accused of stealing public funds.
