Lagos Hosts Traditional Wedding of Azeez Lamina and Adewunmi Awolesi
Azeez Oluwadamilare Arisekola Lamina and Adewunmi Temitope Sarah Ayomikun Awolesi held their traditional wedding ceremony on August 20, 2026, at White Stone Event Palace in Oregun, Lagos. Family members, friends, business associates, traditional rulers and Islamic scholars attended the celebration. Sheikh Dr. Alhaji Hamed Alfilani was among the guests, while the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, was represented. The ceremony featured Yoruba cultural displays, music and prayers for the couple. The groom’s father thanked guests for their support and prayed for a peaceful, prosperous marriage.
