In Marriage, Should Anyone Have the Final Say?
Many marital disagreements are not really about money, the home, or a particular decision. They begin when one partner feels their opinion only matters when it agrees with the other person. Biblical leadership places responsibility on the husband, but it should reflect love, sacrifice, humility and care. It should not become a licence to silence a wife or dismiss her views. Marriage calls both partners to listen, honour each other and seek wisdom together. The aim should not be to win an argument, but to reach a decision that protects the unity and well-being of the family.
