Two Arrested for Burning 27-Year-Old Man to Death in Ukanafun, Akwa Ibom
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested two suspects over the brutal burning of a 27-year-old man inside his room in Iko Udo Obobo Village, Ukanafun LGA. Operatives acting on credible intelligence detained 32-year-old Idem Etim and 29-year-old Namkere Ikoboatang. Investigators say the victim, identified only as Okon, was found burnt beyond recognition, pointing to a deliberate and violent crime. The Commissioner of Police has ordered an exhaustive probe to ensure all those responsible are brought to justice.
