Court Sets November 4 Hearing for Plateau ADC Governorship Ticket Dispute

The Federal High Court has fixed November 4, 2026, to continue hearing a suit over the ADC governorship ticket in Plateau State. Jude Dakur, an aspirant in the party’s governorship primary, says he won the exercise but that his name was omitted from the list of 28 candidates submitted to INEC for the 2027 election. He is asking the court to resolve the dispute over the party’s submission and INEC’s published candidates’ list. Dakur has urged supporters to remain calm and avoid public campaigns until the case is decided.
