My fart has started smelling unusually terrible, and I am genuinely worried. I used to ignore it, but it has become too embarrassing. Last Sunday, I accidentally farted in church and people around me quickly moved away because of the smell. A recent visitor also reacted badly after I farted indoors and advised me to seek medical attention. Sometimes, the smell is so strong that I open the windows, turn on the fan and leave the room for a while. What could be causing this, and what can I do about it?
