Ogunbote Blames Anxiety as Plateau United Settle for Warri Wolves Draw

Plateau United technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote says anxiety and rushed decision-making cost his side a home win after their 1-1 draw with Warri Wolves in Sunday’s NPFL Matchday 11 clash in Jos. Warri Wolves took the lead in the 24th minute through Emmanuel Aribogha, but Samuel Ayanrinde equalised for Plateau United on the hour mark. The hosts pressed for a winner but could not find a way past the visitors’ defence. Ogunbote said his players were too hurried in front of goal as they searched for all three points. Plateau United are sixth on the NPFL table with 16 points from 11 matches and will face Nasarawa United in Lafia next.
