Oyo Budget Commissioner, Adviser and OYSIEC Member Resign From Makinde’s Government
Oyo State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Ayobami Oluwaseun Ojo, has resigned from Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration with immediate effect. Ojo, in a letter dated November 2, thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve. The Special Adviser on Budget and Economic Planning, Simeon Adegbola Oyeleke, also resigned, saying the working environment no longer allowed him to effectively pursue the aspirations of his people. Sunday Olugbenga Falana, a member of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, separately resigned from the commission. Falana did not state a reason for his decision. The exits add to recent resignations by senior officials ahead of the 2027 elections.
