My Experience With Alleged Unpaid Work at Rick Development Company

I applied for a full-stack developer role at Rick Development Company and, after several interviews, received and signed a contract. I then began remote work on a fintech product for the company. The workload was intense. I was assigned multiple features with very short deadlines, often requiring me to find service providers, study their documentation, design the system and implement the solution. I also experienced what I considered insulting communication during the work. Although I completed the assigned work, I allege that I was not paid and was later removed from the company’s work groups. I am sharing my experience to caution other developers to clarify payment terms, deadlines and communication expectations before accepting similar roles.
