Kaduna Governor’s Aide Urges Critics to Let Defence Minister Musa Focus on Security
Victor Bobai, media aide to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, has urged Nigerians not to allow criticism of Defence Minister Christopher Musa’s recent television interview to distract him from tackling insecurity. Bobai said Musa should remain focused on efforts against insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and other crimes. He argued that the minister’s comments on politics, security and the 2027 elections were personal opinions, not official military directives or defence policy. He also called for disagreements over Musa’s remarks to be addressed with evidence rather than insults. Bobai said the minister’s military record and current role should not be judged solely by one interview.
