Former Falconets Midfielder Chinyere Kalu Joins FC Badalona

Former Falconets midfielder Chinyere Kalu has joined Spanish club FC Badalona ahead of the 2026–27 season. The 20-year-old Nigerian midfielder arrives from Levante UD after previously playing for Real Betis. She represented Nigeria at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica. Kalu said she is excited by the move and determined to improve, work hard and make a positive impact at her new club. FC Badalona begin their league campaign away to Athletic Bilbao on August 30.
