Florida Woman Arrested Over Alleged Drugging and $100,000 Rolex Theft
A Florida woman, Lynda Mae Crouse, has been arrested on robbery and grand theft charges over the alleged theft of a Rolex watch valued at $100,000. Investigators say she met the complainant at a Hallandale Beach club before later visiting his home. The man alleged that after they had drinks, he became unusually tired and fell asleep. When he woke up, the watch was gone and Crouse had left. Police allege she may be linked to four similar watch-theft cases in the Miami area. In one earlier case, toxicology results reportedly showed zolpidem, a prescription sleep medication. The allegations have not been proven in court.
