The NPFL Matchday 12 fixture between Sporting Lagos and Rivers United has been postponed indefinitely. A new date is expected to be announced, and fans who bought tickets will be contacted by email. The match had been scheduled for Saturday, 7 November, at Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos. Sporting Lagos said the venue would not be available but did not explain why. The club has faced a similar venue issue at Onikan earlier this season. The postponement was confirmed by the NPFL on Saturday. Other Matchday 12 fixtures were still scheduled to go ahead that weekend.
