Barr. Damilola Marshal Declares Bid for Surulere Constituency 2 Assembly Seat

Barrister Damilola Ayinde Marshal, daughter of Fuji legend K1 De Ultimate, has formally announced her candidacy for the Lagos State House of Assembly. She made the declaration on Instagram, expressing her commitment to represent the people of Surulere Constituency 2. Currently serving as Senior Special Assistant on Tourism to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Damilola highlighted her 12 years of legal experience and deep understanding of governance, justice, and community needs. She emphasized her readiness to be a results-driven voice for youths and to champion progress in the legislature. A graduate of North America University in Cotonou, called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015, and holder of an LLM from the University of Lagos, Damilola was appointed by Gov. Sanwo-Olu in May 2024. She aims to succeed the incumbent APC representative, Mosunmola Sangodara, and urges voters to support competence and unity for a better Lagos.
