Ozumba Mbadiwe Road Repairs to Be Completed by November 2026, Lagos Says
Rehabilitation work is ongoing on the Epe-bound section of Ozumba Mbadiwe Road between the Adetokunbo Ademola intersection and Samuel Manuwa Junction. Earthworks have been completed, while sand bedding is being laid ahead of the installation of interlocking paving stones. The paving-stone design is intended to cope with the area’s high water table, weather conditions and damage caused by overloaded trucks. Lagos officials say the traffic-management plan is in place to limit disruption for motorists. The section is expected to be completed by the end of November 2026, after which the contractor will temporarily leave the site for the Yuletide period.
