NAF Road March Sharpens Troops’ Counter-Terror Readiness

The Nigerian Air Force restated its commitment to combat readiness at the recent Second Quarter Road March exercise in Bauchi. Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Idris highlighted the importance of physical fitness and mental resilience for operational efficiency. Represented by his Chief of Staff, AVM Solomon Lazarus, Idris praised personnel for their discipline and professionalism. He said the march tests stamina and strengthens preparedness in counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism and other security missions across the country. Idris also reaffirmed the NAF’s readiness to work with other agencies to maintain peace and stability. He urged airmen and airwomen to sustain fitness routines for ongoing mission success.
