Ogun Man Arrested After Alleged Burglary and Attempted Rape in Ilogbo
Operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps arrested a 34-year-old man over an alleged burglary and attempted rape in the Onimalu community of Ilogbo. The incident reportedly occurred around 3 a.m. on September 3. The suspect allegedly broke into a resident’s home, removed household appliances and later chased her with scissors in an alleged attempt to rape her. The woman escaped and raised an alarm, prompting residents and security operatives to respond. A condom was reportedly recovered from the suspect during a search. The suspect, the complainant and the community association chairman have been handed over to the Onipanu Police Division for investigation and possible prosecution.
