Arokodare Extends Scoring Run Despite Ajax Defeat to PSV

Tolu Arokodare scored for the fourth consecutive match as Ajax suffered a 3-1 home defeat to title rivals PSV. The 25-year-old struck in the 23rd minute to cancel out Ricardo Pepi's opener. The close-range finish was his fifth goal in four matches, following three goals in two Conference League qualifiers against Sion and another against Telstar. PSV regained the lead through Lutsharel Geertruida in first-half stoppage time before Esmir Bajraktarevic sealed the win late on. The result sent PSV to the top of the Eredivisie standings.
