Samuel Chukwueze Linked to ₦23bn Move to Trabzonspor

Turkish side Trabzonspor have lodged a €15 million (about ₦23 billion) bid with AC Milan for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze. The 25-year-old struggled for regular minutes at Milan last season and spent part of the campaign on loan at Fulham. Trabzonspor see Chukwueze’s pace and dribbling as key to boosting their right flank. Reports say the transfer could include a mandatory purchase clause based on performance targets. Milan have not yet commented on the offer. A switch to Turkey would reunite Chukwueze with compatriots Paul Onuachu and Anthony Nwakaeme. The club is preparing for a challenging season across the Süper Lig, Turkish Cup, Super Cup and Europa League, and hopes the Super Eagles star can reignite his form.
