Planning to Study in Canada? Know Your Options After Graduation

Many Nigerians focus on gaining admission to Canada, paying tuition, showing proof of funds and securing a study visa. It is equally important to understand what happens after graduation. Eligible international students may be able to apply for post-graduation work opportunities, but this is not automatic. Your school, programme and eligibility status can affect whether you qualify for a work permit. Before paying a deposit or making travel plans, find out how long you may be allowed to work after school, what happens if you do not get a job quickly, and how work experience may affect a future permanent-residency application. Anyone considering Canada should research these options carefully before committing millions of naira to the move.
