Lagos Set to Host Maiden MOB National Taekwondo Championship
The maiden Michael Opeyemi Bamidele National Taekwondo Championship will hold at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos, on September 18 and 19. Athletes from across Nigeria will compete for medals and ranking points, with both experienced competitors and emerging talents expected to take part. The event will also give national team selectors an opportunity to assess athletes ahead of future international competitions. Nigeria Taekwondo Federation President Tayo Popoola said preparations have been completed, including the provision of new equipment for the championship.
