Let Your Light Shine: A Call to Live for Christ
Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:14–16 that believers are the light of the world, like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. Light is meant to be seen. Through our words, character and good deeds, we can point others to God. Isaiah 60:1 also calls God’s people to arise and shine. Darkness brings discouragement and suppression, but God’s light lifts people up. As Christians, we carry the message of Christ, hope for the hurting and a witness that can positively influence our generation. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you can come to Him in faith. Ask Him to forgive your sins, accept Him as Lord and begin your journey of growth in a Bible-believing church. May our lives shine in a way that brings glory to God.
