Norwich City Reportedly Join Race for Nigerian Winger Daniel Job
Norwich City are reportedly monitoring Kongsvinger IL winger Daniel Job as they look to strengthen their attack. The 20-year-old Nigerian is also said to be attracting interest from Lecce, RB Salzburg, FC Basel and AIK. Lecce reportedly had a €3 million offer rejected, with Kongsvinger valuing Job at more than €4 million plus add-ons. Norwich’s interest follows an injury to winger Ali Ahmed during pre-season. Job developed through the Future Pro academy in Nigeria before moving to Norway. After spells with Sarpsborg 08 and Egersund, he joined Kongsvinger in February 2026 and has become a regular starter in the OBOS-ligaen, contributing goals and assists. He was voted Kongsvinger’s Player of the Month for June and July 2026, and donated the prize money to a children’s cancer charity.
