Why Are You Hiding in the Cave?

Elijah had once stood boldly against the prophets of Baal, yet Jezebel’s threat left him afraid, exhausted and hidden in a cave. There, God asked him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” Setbacks can shake our confidence. A lost job, struggling business, academic failure or difficulties at home may leave us discouraged and ready to give up. But a painful season does not have to become our permanent home. God calls us to rise above fear and move forward in faith. Do not let a temporary setback cancel your purpose. Trust God for strength, take the next step, and believe that better days can still come. Prayer: Lord, I place my fears and worries in Your hands. Give me strength to rise above discouragement and continue in Your purpose for my life. Amen.
