Former Ministers Urge Unity at UNN Alumni NEC Meeting in Asaba
Former Ministers Chinedu Nebo and Ibrahim Shekarau have called on alumni associations to prioritise peace, unity and service above personal interests. They spoke at the 120th National Executive Council meeting of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association in Asaba, Delta State. Nebo urged older alumni to mentor younger members, while Shekarau said unity should allow for different aspirations without conflict. Representing Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Chief Strategist Festus Okunbor said the state would support the association’s activities. The meeting also featured awards for notable alumni and a posthumous honour for Maryam Babangida.
