United States Confirmed to Host Inaugural FIFA Women’s Club World Cup in 2028

The United States will host the inaugural FIFA Women’s Club World Cup in 2028, FIFA has confirmed. The competition will bring leading women’s clubs from across the world together. Arsenal Women, Club América Femenil, Barcelona Femení, Gotham FC, Naegohyang Women’s FC, Corinthians and Wuhan Jiangda WFC have already qualified, while 12 more places are still open. FIFA said the United States was selected because of its experience hosting major tournaments, strong sporting infrastructure and growing interest in women’s football. The country hosted the men’s Club World Cup in 2025 and co-hosted the men’s World Cup with Canada and Mexico earlier this year.
