Throwback: UNEC Law Faculty Staff Welcome Prof. L.C.B. Gower in the Late 1980s
This archival photograph captures members of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus Faculty of Law during a courtesy visit by Prof. L.C.B. Gower, pioneer Dean of Law at the University of Lagos, and Mrs Gower, around 1988–89. The image includes notable legal scholars and future jurists, including Prof. D.I.O. Ewelukwa, Prof. C.O. Okonkwo, Prof. E.I. Nwogwugwu, Prof. G. Ezejiofor, Prof. E.K. Quashigah, Prof. G.O.S. Amadi, Justice O.A. Otisi and Justice E.C. Iyizoba. It is a reminder of an influential generation of lecturers whose teaching and scholarship helped shape legal education at UNEC.
