Former Osun Lawmaker Urges Davido to Tell Uncle Adeleke to Stop Harbouring Criminals

Hon. Babatunde Festus Komolafe has called on Afrobeat star Davido to pressure his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, to stop sheltering suspected criminals in the Osun Government House ahead of the 2026 election. He cited the Inspector General of Police’s visit, during which Tunji Disu warned that wanted individuals were reportedly taking refuge in the state executive lodge. Komolafe said genuine commitment to a free and fair poll would require the governor to hand over anyone evading justice, including the alleged Emir and other suspects. This appeal echoes the All Progressives Congress’s longstanding accusation that the ruling party in Osun is harbouring thugs.
