Isaac Fayose Criticises Wike Over Claims on Osun Governorship Election

Isaac Fayose has criticised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over his remarks on the Osun State governorship election. Wike had said Governor Ademola Adeleke won because the Federal Government did not use its influence in the election. He added that President Bola Tinubu allowed Osun residents to choose their governor freely. Fayose disagreed, saying Osun voters had decided their preferred candidate long before election day. He also accused Wike of trying to undermine the will of the people and said Nigeria would have been worse off if Wike had become Atiku Abubakar’s running mate.
