Umahi Inspects Benin–Agbor Road as Gridlock Strands Travellers

The Benin–Agbor Road has become a major traffic bottleneck, with motorists and travellers reportedly stranded for hours. Some passengers have reportedly spent the night on the road. Damaged, muddy sections, poor drainage and ongoing reconstruction have made movement difficult. The situation has triggered protests and public anger. Works Minister David Umahi is expected to inspect the Benin–Agbor–Asaba Road as pressure mounts for urgent action to ease the gridlock and complete the rehabilitation.
