A 13-year-old boy has died after part of a fountain collapsed in northwestern Spain during celebrations for the national team’s World Cup win. The upper section of the structure gave way and fell on revelers. Emergency services cleared debris and rushed the teenager to a nearby health centre, but he was pronounced dead on arrival. Two other young people were also injured, including one child with a possible leg fracture. The city council has expressed sorrow and offered condolences to the family.
