ABSU Suspends Lecturer Over Claim That Keke Riders Earn More Than Professors
Abia State University has suspended Professor Nnamdi Nwaeze of its Department of Economics after he alleged on Facebook that some professors at the institution earn less than ₦400,000 monthly. Nwaeze also claimed that some commercial tricycle riders earn more than professors in the university. The school management described his posts as harmful to the institution's interests. The university said an investigative panel has been set up to examine the matter.
