The Power of Humility: Attracting God’s Help
Today’s teaching concludes with how humility draws God’s help. Psalm 10:17–18 shows that God hears the humble and rescues them from oppression. Romans 12:1 calls us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, surrendering completely to God’s control. Pride almost cost Naaman his healing in 2 Kings 5:11–12. He felt unworthy of the simple command to dip in the Jordan. His servants’ counsel led him to obey, and God restored him. We must never let our wealth or status keep us from total surrender. James 4:6 says God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. King David’s humility attracted God’s favor throughout his life. Approach God with a heart of humility. Acknowledge His ownership of your life. Lay aside pride and trust that He will rise to help you beyond your expectations.
