Complete Trust: Letting Go of Self-Reliance
Complete trust means placing every part of my life in God’s hands, including the areas I think I can manage alone. Trusting God does not mean refusing to plan or think. It means recognising that His wisdom is greater than my own understanding. Self-reliance can make me depend too much on money, experience, connections or personal strength. Scripture teaches me to trust the Lord wholeheartedly and seek His direction before making major decisions. Like Abraham, I may receive only the next step rather than the full picture. I can still obey, wait for God’s timing and surrender what I cannot control. Jesus showed complete trust when He submitted His will to the Father. Today, I choose to trust God with my future, family, plans and unanswered questions. Complete trust begins where self-reliance ends.
