IG Details Alleged JAMB Server Hack by Five Suspects During 2026 UTME
The Inspector-General of Police has revealed that five individuals are accused of hacking the JAMB server to manipulate the 2026 UTME CBT in Delta State. They allegedly installed RADMI software on over 200 test computers to access and alter exam data. Their arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja was moved to Delta State for faster prosecution. Justice Musa Liman advised transferring the case file to the court’s Delta division, a proposal both prosecution and defence agreed on. The charges include unlawful computer access, computer-related fraud and several counts under the Cybercrimes Act and the Examination Malpractice Act. The suspects face allegations of conspiracy, data manipulation, cheating at examination and procuring exam questions by fraudulent means.
