Visitor Shares What He Noticed After Two Days in Aba
Polyglot Adedji Odulesi has shared his impressions after spending two days in Aba, Abia State. He described the commercial city as lively, relatively clean and busy, with residents actively engaged in trade and transport. Odulesi said many roads appeared to be in good condition, although he noticed a few potholes. He also noted streetlights, a reasonable electricity supply and an atmosphere he found calm enough for his team to move around with filming equipment without harassment. He was particularly struck by Aba's high-rise buildings, active transport sector and the flow of traders who visit the city to buy goods for resale. He added that many residents he met spoke positively about the state government's work. While he acknowledged that two days were not enough to fully assess a city as large as Aba, his account adds to conversations about infrastructure, security and economic growth in Abia State.
