Wisdom Seed Devotional: Living to Please God

August 2, 2026 devotional reflection: Living to Please God. Genesis 39:9 shows Joseph refusing Potiphar’s wife because he would not sin against God. John 8:29 also reminds us that Jesus lived to do what pleased the Father. Remembering our identity in God can give us strength when temptation comes. A life that pleases God values obedience, holiness and a clear conscience above temporary gain or convenience. Each day, our choices, words and attitudes should reflect God’s Word. Prayer: Father, help me to resist temptation, walk in obedience and live in a way that honours You. Amen.
