Peter Obi Refuses to Reveal How He’ll Achieve 10,000MW Power, Urges Nigerians to Trust Him
During a recent interview, Peter Obi insisted that Nigerians do not need to know the details of his plan to generate 10,000 megawatts of electricity if elected president. He argued voters should focus on his track record rather than every step of his strategy. When pressed by the host for a detailed roadmap, Obi declined to share specifics, saying, “It is not for you to know how. It is for you to look at the man who is saying this.” He maintained his pledge to generate, transmit, and distribute at least 10,000MW within four years. Obi also criticized past administrations for failing to commission new government-owned power plants since 2015. Citing examples from Indonesia, India, and Egypt, he said expanding generation capacity is “not rocket science” and reaffirmed his commitment: “I have my name on it.”
