Federal Government-Sponsored Digital Skills Training Opens for 36,000 Nigerians
The Nigeria Digital Training Academy 2026 is offering government-sponsored digital and professional skills training to 36,000 Nigerians through the National Skilling Project and a collaboration with Coursera. Successful applicants will receive free access to online courses in software development, cybersecurity, cloud technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, FinTech, IT automation and other emerging fields. Training centres with devices and internet support are also available in selected locations. Applicants are expected to register with their NIN and phone number, complete their profile, and take a pre-assessment. The assessment will help determine the most suitable learning pathway. Participants who complete their assigned courses and assessments may receive certificates. The programme is aimed at students, graduates, job seekers, working professionals and Nigerians seeking to build practical skills for employment, entrepreneurship or a transition into the digital economy.
