Falz Denies Endorsing Peter Obi and Slams Tinubu’s Second Term Bid

Nigerian rapper Falz has clarified that he never backed any political candidate in the 2023 election. He says his role was limited to urging citizens to vote and calling for a free, fair democratic process. Turning his sights on President Bola Tinubu, Falz criticized the administration’s record on insecurity, inflation and rising living costs. He argues that Nigerians have yet to feel any real progress on the ground. Recalling Tinubu’s campaign promise of 24-hour power supply, Falz insists the government has fallen short and therefore has not earned the right to seek a second term.
