Wumi Toriola Celebrates Kunle Afod at 53 After Clash With His Estranged Wife

Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has celebrated her colleague, Kunle Afod, on his 53rd birthday with prayers for good health, grace, fulfilment and greater accomplishments. Her message comes days after a public disagreement involving Afod’s estranged wife, Desola. Desola had accused some actors of disrespecting her and said she should not be addressed by her first name. Wumi and other actresses responded, asking her to name anyone who had offended her instead of making general allegations about the industry. Desola later apologised for her remarks and said she had moved on from the issue.
