Sanwo-Olu to Kick Off AAAN’s 53rd AGM & Congress with ‘AdVolution’ Theme

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will declare open the 53rd Annual General Meeting and Congress of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) on July 24, 2026 at Providence Hotel, Ikeja GRA. The two-day event, running from July 23 to 24, will unite advertising, marketing, media and creative economy leaders under the theme “AdVolution: The End of Advertising as We Know It and How to Win What Comes Next.” Key discussions will cover artificial intelligence, digital platforms, shifting consumer behaviours and the growing creator economy. Activities kick off with a members-only business session on July 23, featuring committee reports and strategic deliberations. The main conference on July 24 will include keynote addresses by industry experts, the Governor’s opening remarks and contributions from the Minister of Information and the Director-General of ARCON. The programme concludes with the AAAN Gala and Awards Night, where outstanding agencies and individuals in Nigeria’s advertising sector will be honoured.
